Thanks to the judicious use of ratcheting straps, I'm manged to bend the 0.032" skin around the lower nose of the the fuselage. Now it's starting to look a bit like a plane, if I squint and tip my head.
Jenny was roped into helping me rotate the fuselage. From other people's logs, it looks like other have skinned the nose with the fuselage right-side up, but I had enough difficulty doing the job this way, I can't imagine doing so.
I'm also installing a doubler on the bottom skin at F4. The plans have the two main bottom skins meeting at an angle there, and I want just a touch more stiffness on the skin, since this is going to be the front edge of my seat and control stick anchor point when all is said and done.
