Brief Description:  Electrical System Planning

Finished Version 1.0 of the electrical plans. I'm assuming I'll be moving forward with the AM13 motor, and I'm planning on using two parallel wired LiFePo batteries. I'm modifying some of the AeroElectric recommendations owing to the newer battery types available now.

I'll also be using fuse blocks in lieu of breakers or a solid state electrical system. Vertical Power sold me on not using solid-state; they want a kidney and my first born for a widget that replaces USD$20 in fuses and a piece of cast plastic. And space and weigh restrictions sold me on the use of fuses for a Light Sport Aircraft. I haven't been super impressed with the Remos GX I'm flying in training, but the fused electrical system and the mechanical control system have been champs.

The dashed box on the right shows the switches to be panel mounted. I may stick these on the rib panels below the instrument panel. The dashed box in the corner are the switches I will mount inside the throttle control. The dashed box in the bottom left are the switches that will be mounted on the control stick.
