pulled the recently glassed fairing off, trimmed and sanded to final shape. Mixed up a batch of epoxy resin with micro and cabosil, all dyed black, and slathered in on in a mayonaise consistency. Next session I will sand, rinse, and repeat until nice and smooth before painting and gluing on the airframe. Looks like this is going to work fine.
