rudder cables were rubbing on landing gear weldments. Called Van's for advice, they said a previous owner of the kit may have not followed plans correctly and drilled routing holes for RV8 instead of RV8A. Confirmed this was true, then re-drilled forward routing holes in correct positions. No more rubbing.
Error holes can be used for electrical wire routing.
