Today we deburred the rudder skin, all the stiffeners, the spar, ribs and all parts that are rudder. Next we dimpled all the stiffeners and skins where the stiffeners go. Stiffeners and skins were then cleaned, etched, and primed. When the primer dried we back riveted the stiffeners onto the skin. The last thing we did was to fit the skeleton of the rudder together, and called it a day.
