Started using a rule to measure and draw the center line on the fore and aft bracket flanges. Then I determined that the combination square depth where the ruler connects to be head was the right distances for drawing the center line. It is offset away from the web to account for the thickness of the flange and allow room for tools to tighten the bolts and the pop rivet gun.
