Brief Description:  Finished up the rear spar assemblies

After sleeping on the left spar dimpling issue, I decided this was not the best method. As the spar material will be sandwiched between the skin and the doubler it appears the spar will be machine countersunk to accommodate the AN426AD3 rivets when the skins are riveted. So, the right wing remains undimpled over the center and outboard doubler plates.

Fabricated a #6 and #8 screw dimple and AD3 and AD4 dimple rivet depth gauge for setting up the dimples for the skins. Hope this will cut down on my setup time.

Finished dimpling, scuffing and priming the left and right rear spars and doubler plates. As mentioned throughout this builders log, I am using Duplicolor Self-Eching Primer Spay paint. Pretty good stuff, may not be as durable as Variprime or other two-part primers but the preparation and cleanup is far easier. Not to mention the minimal weight of using the rattle can method. More on this later.
