Brief Description: Rolled left elevator edges and attached hardware
- Used a broom handle and duct tape to roll the leading edges of the elevators. This in not an easy task. Unless the work is held down, it has a tendency to move as you roll, giving a flatter roll reducing the clearence needed between the elevator and the horizontal stabilzer. While I have enough clearence, my rolled leading edges are not exactly spherical. One edge has more roll than the other. But since this leading edge will be close to HS it should not be noticable or effect the flying characteristics of the stabilizer and elevator.
- Installed the rod-end bearings and performed initial depth adjustments. I will finalize these when I attach the HS to the fuse. For now, left elevator is done.
