Brief Description: Email to Van's on elevator rib attachment
Sent an email to Van's technical support regarding my solution for attaching the elevator end rib and counterbalance rib to the elevator spar. My solution is to use a bolt and locknut with loctite. Also posted a similar message on the Houston RV Builders forum. Received a response from Phil on the forum post. He indicates that it should be ok as long as I maintain clearance specs for using bolt and the edge of the material being attached.
