Brief Description:  Rear Spar Assembly

Broke the edges of the HS-609PP using the Scotchbrite wheel and file. The reinforcement bars fit flush in the HS-603PP which required very little edging.

Using the Scotchbrit wheel and gray Scotchbrit pad, smoothed the edges and flat surfaces of the HS-609PP reinforcing bars to a satin finish to remove milling marks.

Drilled the pre-punched holes of the HS-603PP and HS-609PP to correct size using a #30 drill bit.
Located and drilled the pre-punched holes for the HS-708 using #21 drill bit.

Using a #30 drill bit, drilled the pre-punched holes of the HS-412PP and HS-413PP elevator hinge brackets to the rear spar assembly

Cleco’d the HS-411PP brackets and VA-146 bearing to the rear spare assembly then drilled the holes into the HS-411BPP bracket using the HS-411BPP bracket as a guide.

Deburred and primed the HS-411PP bracket and VA-146 bearing using DupliColor Self etching primer (green).
