Spent the last week working very slowly on the rear spar, sub spar and various hinge brackets and attach angles. I knew the weather was not suitable (too cold) for painting and I spoent a few hours here and there deburring and prepping the parts for priming.
Sunday the temp got all the way up to 45F and I quickly went out and primed all of the rear spar and associated parts.
I pressed the flaperon hinge bearings into the bracket and riveted the flaperon hinge brackets.
I riveted the rear spars to the flaperon hinges, the spar doublers and the wing tip attach angles.
I riveted the stub spars to their doublers.
All in all not a bad week. Next is the long and tedious process of prepping all of the wing ribs for priming. Maybe by the end of the week, I'll get to paint again.
