Cut, deburred, and primed all 20 spar attach angles,
Drilled and tapped to 3/8-16 the upper and lower tie-down brackets.
Cut, deburred and primed both tip attach angles.
Riveted all attach angles as specified in plans, including angles already present on the spar but did not have all of their rivets installed.
My Avery close quarters rivet puller (USM) gave up the ghost with about 15 rivets to go. It's a simple mechanical device and I don;t know what could have failed. Maybe an internal spring. I finished up with another old rivet puller and I will check my warranty status with Avery on Monday.
