Brief Description: Unpacked and inventoried Empennage Kit
It was exactly one month ago today that I faxed my order into Van's for my RV-12 empennage kit. I had lined up unloading help in the form of my dear friends Danny and Stacey Wells and my brother-in-law Mike Smith.
I inventoried the kit and found only one minor descrepancy. I had two F-1280R parts and no F-1279R part. After matching up the left and right fuselage skins it became apparent that one of the two F-1280R pieces was mismarked and I did indeed have a complete set of skins.
All parts accounted for. I began labeling drawers and putting up small parts. I ran out of drawers, before I ran out of small parts, so I'm calling it a night.
