Brief Description: Finish Rudder and Prep Right Elevator
Today I riveted the last of the rudder skin rivets to the aft-most rib tip attach points. Used the squeezer and no-hole, thin nose yoke to squeeze the second to last rivet on the tip rib and MK-319-BS blind rivets on the aft-most hole.
I then used the soldering iron to cut strips along the rivet lines on the protective vinyl covering of the right elevator skin. I removed the strips from the outside of the skin and removed the entire vinyl covering from the inside of the skin. I also removed the protective film from the right elevator spar, rib and reinforcement plates.
Ready to move on to the right elevator construction process!
