I went to the Bestway terminal and picked up empennage kit. It was packed in two large wooden crates. I brought the kit home and inspected it for damage. Everything was in good shape. The left horizontal stabilizer was completed by the previous owner and the riveting and construction looked good. The right horizontal stabilizer was framed up with the ribs and spars already prepared, primed and riveted together. Both front and rear spars were complete and the outboard attach brackets were riveted in place. The attach points were in place and riveted to the front spar. All workmanship appeared to be very good. The left horizontal stabilizer skin was already final drilled and riveted to the nose ribs. The remainder of the skin was already final drilled, primed, and dimpled.
