Brief Description:  Layout of new instrument panel jig

I was not happy with a slight assymetry in my first attempt at an instrument panel bow. (It was kinda lumpy.) I have decided to fabricate one via the alternated method of laminating strips of wood around a curve instead of trying to cut a curve. In order to do this, I drew the plans grid for the right half of the bow onto posterboard, and plotted points along the curve corresponding to the inside edge of the bow. A bottom reference line was drawn, as well as a perpendicular centerline. With the template aligned to the right half of the jig, nails were driven thru the plotted points. The template was flipped over, aligned left, and nails driver thru the points plotted on the template to define the left side of the panel. The template was removed, and the jig rechecked for symmetry and dimensional accuracy.
