I have to do a couple modifications to the accessory case. I am converting from an oil screen to oil filter. The new oil filter adapter requires that a stud be installed at the lower left mounting hole. I installed the stud, checked the clearance and all seems to fit nicely.
I am getting all the parts ready for assembly of the engine, hopefully over Christmas vacation. The only major part I have out for re-work is the oil sump.
I still need to choose a starter and alternator... I also plan to have a backup alternate mounted via the vacuum pump pad. 20 to 30 amp should run most everything in the plane that I consider important for IFR.
