Received New Camshaft
Took shipment of the new camshaft.
New tach shaft
Tagged fuel pump rod
Update: I received a number of emails asking why there are only 6 cam lobes.
Lycoming 4 cylinder engines have 6 lobes.
The 4 exhaust valves are driven from their individual cam lobes...
The intake valves share cam lobes as follows:
Cylinders #1 & #2 share the same lobe and #3 & #4 share another lobe.
This arrangement results in only 6 total cam lobes being necessary.
