I went out into the shop and looked at the riveting of the top skin. I was going to wait until I could have Ralph or Rob come to help me as I figured it would make it a lot easier and I was paranoid of making smiley's on the top skin. So I began to hover around the skin and did test positioning of bucking bar and rivet gun to see how my solo reach would work for the rivets. I determined that it was doable and I felt comfortable giving it a try.
So I decided to give it a try and see how it went. I took my time making sure I was very comfortable in my stance for bucking each rivet. I started from the top and worked my way down each side slowly making sure the gun was square and the bucking bar in place before bucking each rivet.
Taking my time paid off and by the end of the work session I had all the top rivets done.....only the side rivet lines are left to do.
