Brief Description:  Remove Flap Actuator & GIB Seat Hinge

With the flap system, switches, sensors, and wiring all in place for the flaps I need to take them out in order to get the floors in place for doing other tasks.

After removing all the flap stuff I placed the two halves of the rear floor into the fuselage. There was only a hinge on the left side of the floor panel since that is the way the old instructions had it done. Using that hinge I placed the seat in position....but something was off. I started looking and measuring....it seemed the hinge that was attached was around 1/4 inch shifted to the right. I bought the newer GIB seat that has the aluminum top instead of the fiberglass insert. They also do the hinge different. Anyways....the hinge needed to be remade to make things fit. I have extra pieces of -3 hinge from the wingtip hinge install and was able to grab a piece. The hinge on the seat was fine and no need to change it.

I removed the old hinge on the panel. Looking at the prints on CD I got the method down to make the "new hinge" using the new methodology.....so I got the process started prior to quitting for the night.
