Brief Description:  Manifold for smoke system

I decided to divert a little bit to get the manifold that will mount in the engine compartment for the smoke tank that I will have in the front baggage area when I want it. I have to make a manifold for the hoses that will go to the exhaust that will require a total of five fittings. One fitting will supply the manifold and four others will go to their respective exhaust stacks.

I thought I had some stock in the shop that I could use, but the -6 fitting was too large for the stock I intended to use. I went to the local shop and picked up some more aluminum that would work although it was a bit too large which meant I had to cut both the length and the width to get it to the 1" X 1 3/8 size I needed. I drew out the design and while the material was getting cut on the bandsaw, I began to tear down the panel setup on the machine, clean and get it set up with the vise for making the manifolds.

I got to the point of being ready to drill and tap the end for the supply line....will pick it up there next session.
