Brief Description:  Forward Baggage Cover Panel #17

This was one of those sessions that you feel that even though you got things accomplished...you don't see much progress.

I decided to modify my baggage shelf "in case" I decided to put a smoke tank inside. The RV8 smoke tank generally goes in the lower part of the fwd baggage compartment but mine is being used as an electrical bay so that option is out. I spoke with Marvin at Smoke Systems and got some information. So I decided to set up a some nutplates in order to give the option of having the smoke tank option available....it is easier to do now than later. They can also be used for tie downs etc.

So I did some cypherin about how I wanted to beef up the shelf to support a 30 pound "filled" tank.

I decided to remove the contactor / current limiters panel from the electrical bay in preparation for starting to get things mounted.
