Brief Description:  Parking brake and misc

I completed the front bracket for the parking brake cable control. I lined it up in proper position and drilled the attachment holes in the gear tower.

I had to make a bracket to support the cable by the firewall so I selected the location on the firewall angle that would give the cable the least amount of tension on the parking brake module. The cable is very stout and in retrospect I could have used a thinner cable probably but it works well and I wanted the "red" color as an eye catcher for the brake. So with all the support brackets installed with the Adel clamps I made the final cable trim cut and attached the cable to the parking brake module.....ops check - great!

I attached the rudder pedal forward cables to the firewall using the eye bolt and put the 13 washers on the bolt for now. All is hand tight and the washers available on the bolt for safe keeping but when the rudder cables are attached to the rudder itself the washers will have to potentially be moved, removed, or modified for proper positioning of the rudder pedals.

My next task will be to install the baggage compartment side wall prior to being able to attach the battery hold down system I made. I simply drilled the holes in the panel to the proper clearance size, deburred them and called it a night.
