Brief Description:  Wood floor and Static system

In order to work in putting in the static line I needed to cut a board to lay in the back section where the static ports and plumbing reside in order to be able to work in that cramped area. So I got my tape and dove in to get a measurement sketch. Fortunately I have OSB sheeting scraps around that serve the purpose well for this temporary flooring.

I called my friend Jim to talk about the static lines for a bit. It seems the static kit that came with my airplane kit was not really stacking together like it should......so after talking and looking at prints with Jim I found that I had the wrong size plastic "tee" and went to a local store where I found one that would fit perfectly. Thanks again Jim!

I also decided that rather than use the rivet that Vans provides for a static port.....I had some round aluminum in the shop in back that would work well for making static ports. The rest of the session involved designing something on paper.....looks like it will work.
