Brief Description:  Forward Baggage Door #16

I had some scrap pieces of OSB hanging around and I began looking at making the ELT bracket to mount in the airplane so I decided to do some quick measuring and cut out some boards I can use to lay on while getting up in the tail area.....been wanting to do that for some time and finally got to it!

I got a special treat this weekend in that my daughter Jocelyn who lives in Harrisburg VA with her husband about three hours away, told me she wanted to stop by for a visit. Wow what a great surprise! We had a great time! I have owned a few spam can airplanes over the years as the children were growing up, and Jocelyn would come out to the hangar on a number of occasions and help me work on the airplanes. She decided to go into the USAF and chose the Aircraft Maintence career field. She went through the schools and became a mechanic on C-130s. She also spent time deployed to in the Middle East serving our great country! She is a wonderful daughter and had made me a proud father.

Well....no sense in letting that mechanic experience go to waste....so I asked her if she could assist me in riveting the door skin to the baggage door....with a yes dad...we completed the work in short order.

That's all for the door until later in the build process when I finish the latch system.
