I started by making the two F-873K Door pins. I went out into the shop to put the radius on the pins. Drilled slotted them. Next I made the Lock arm. Once again I had to drill a smaller hole because it is not a bole on the lock but a threaded stud with two flats that act to stop the lock arm from turning on the stud.
I usually measure the flats and then drill about .010 smaller than that dimension. Next I use my dremmel and files to get the flats to size and get the ends elongated to fit the threaded part of the stud. I got a good fit on the lock arm.
After all that I started fluting the ribs. It took a while because they are narrow and kind of flimsy. Plus it has been a long time since I have fluted and straightened the tabs on the ribs.
I began clecoing the lower part of the door with F-873E. That's about it....time to quit for tonight.
