Brief Description:  Right Console #20

With the parts in place I knew that the bottom right corner of the angled panel would need some support. I mused the best way to do so thinking I would attach a small bracket to the skin of the fuse with a couple rivets and use that to support the panel. My only apprehension about that was if the angled panel picked up some vibration and the small clamp transferred that to the fuse skin in that location, I could potentially end up with the skin fatigue cracking. Granted the chances are slim of that happening but it is a possibility.

After looking for a bit I decided to make a bracket that would attach to the one I just made and bend it in a manner to clear the angle where the two panels meet and attach it to the horizontal panel with rivets. It took a while to get the small bracket just right due to the location being hard to work on but in the end it was worth the time. The angled panel is solid and I didn't have to attach to the fuselage skin.

I am at the point to putting on all the nutplates so that will be the next task. I have tried to use screws where possible in order to make the entire assembly removable without trying to drill out a bunch of rivets.....mission accomplished!
