Brief Description:  Right Console #18

I marked and cut a spacer that would go under the hinge to make the door level to the compartment frame. Since the hinge was sitting "under" the top angle aluminum it meant
the door would hit the other side at a small angle leaving the door propped open a bit.

So since i was using 1/16 in angle for the frame I cut a piece of 1/16 in aluminum off some scrap sheet I have and made a spacer so when riveted to the hinge it would all be nice and level. It worked excellent and the door sat nice and flat when it laid on the frame!!! I put the side panel on the console and did a little more trimming on the cover to get the profile flush.

I am going to think on the latch I will use for the compartment while finishing the forward cover. I want a low profile yet easy to use latch for the cover access.
