I ended up trimming off some of the bulkhead cap just to give a little more clearance from the support bracket.
I bolted the support angle on the spar cap then used cleco clamps to hold the mounting bracket to the support bracket and transferred the forward throttle attach holes into the support bracket. I then removed the support bracket and drilled and installed the nutplates. I then reinstalled the support bracket.
Next I inserted the spacers and screwed on the throttle quadrunt. I have to purchase longer screws as the ones I had barely grabbed a thread or two.
The setup is very sturdy and I believe it will work excellent. Another bite of the elephant is digested!
Now going on the road for two weeks straight for work which will stop the progress for a couple weeks.
