Brief Description: Console and Throttle Quadrunt work
This work session involved more cypherin. I began to get locations marked up for the throttle quad. I am a big advocate of double sided tape. I was able to put some on the back side of the throttle quad and stick it in place for positioning. Worked really well and could be adjusted fairly easily. I then marked, drilled, and attached #10 nutplates to the screw locations to match the throttle quad attachment screws.
The throttle doesn't have great clearance for the hand with it bolted against the spar gap cover which I knew, but it will be a straightforward process of putting a half inch spacer setup to move it away from the cover. I just wanted to get the location of the attachment holes locked in place. There are still a number of more pieces to be fabricated to complete a good setup for the throttle quadrunt to be secure in place. Thanks again Rick!
