Brief Description:  Paint Day(cont)

Long day and the painting is done.....going to give it plenty of time to cure. It came out good for an amatteur. Toward the 3rd coat I had an issue of drips showing up.....couldn't figure it out till I was almost all done. A nut in the front of the spray gun that goes aroune the trigger metering rod came loose and was off ended up being the culprit. I had to fix the baggage panel....not perfect as is the paint job as a whole....but acceptable and the best I could do with my lack of paint expeience. The good thing about Stewart paint is a rag and a pale of water assisted me in getting the bad spots repaired to acceptable standards.

Thanks once again to my wonderful wife without whose assistance I could not have accomplished this project over the weekend!

Also thanks to my friend Jim for getting some Stewart Topcoat advice prior to me tackling this job. Thanks Jimbo for the tech support!!
