Brief Description:  Clean and prep fuse interior for painting #3

Completed the wash down with Eco-Clean and began the process of getting the fuselage ready for spray painting. Started the taping process and getting the holes plugged where I didn't want paint to enter.

I really love double sided sticky tape. I decided that perhaps the best way to tackle the big holes in the gear towers. I cut out cardboard from spare boxes we have around the basement to make the plugs. I cut four 4" cardboard squares and two 4"x 5" rectangles to cover the holes. Next I took my double sided tape (by the way I have had this roll of 1/2" DS sticky tape since the 1980's, and it still works amazing....I love it!) and placed it on the cardboard in the top hole first then the middle and finally the lower hole. I had placed a nail in the middle and four in the larger square to pull them tightly against the aluminum and stick the cardboard real good....worked excellent!
