The process calls to temporarily install F-817 and F-818 into the aircraft in order to set the distance to install a bolt in F-818 that will attach it to F-817. I had a little difficulty due to the fact that F-817 portion that connects to the firewall had the holes and nutplates misdrilled enough to cause difficulty in getting the left screw into the nutplate.
I had to work the clearance hole and open it up to the point that it would allow the bolt to align with the nutplate....it was a pain, but I finally got it done. Because my fuselage is a quick build, the holes and nutplates were placed in the fuselage by the factory that does the quickbuild option.
