No pictures. It was just prepping for nutplates and drilling out clearance holes. I drilled and dimpled the holes for the nutplate rivets. Some of the nutplates are in close quarters. I made up a little setup to help me.
I cut off a small section of flap rod tubing and put the #8 screw through. Then I placed the screw in and started the nutplate. Before tightening the screw I aligned and set rivets in the holes. Next I tightened the screw. Then using my pneumatic squeezer I squeeze the rivets. This little setup works GREAT!!! I have used clecos but many times they sit so tall that they get in the way when trying to use the squeezer. So all the nutplate holes are ready...except the top holes because they have not been located until I screw the rest of the cover in place to make the locations exact.
