Brief Description:  Complete rudder cable installation

I secured the nylon cable guide with tie wraps and laid out the cables in the rear of the aircraft where the rudder will go. The operation went smoothly overall once I looked over the prints and made a game plan. One thing to know is you have to feed the cables from the aft through the slots at the rear of the fuselage and install them toward the foward part of the fuselage. During my time strategizing I did determine that the clevis end of the cable DOES NOT fit through the slots in the tail cone section. That would have meant re-running the cables if I had started to run them from the front to the back.

I find that it is always good to look at what has to be done and take some time to get a game plan. Vans instructions never said to run the cables back to front....but then again thats the purpose in the whole e/ab thing....you are suppose to have a part in thinking things through....Vans couldn't possibly tell you every minute step....so the lesson is lay out a strategy(and don't be afraid to ask some experienced builders if you get in a bind!)
