Still waiting for proseal to arrive to finish the tanks. I decided to remove the landing light from the left wing that was installed by the previous builder. I made a tab and riveted it onto the light mount in order to keep the bulb from spinning. The notch does not catch the tab on the light and causes it to allow it to spin. With that done I also put Loctite on the baffle screws and tightened the tie wraps.
When I removed the lens, I found that there were spider cracks on 2 corners of the lens. They varied from 1/2 - 3/4 inches long. I figured that I would re-install the lens and perhaps get a new one at a later date. Well in the process of putting the lens back in, it fell apart in my hands. So much for waiting...a friend Rick I spoke with happens to have an extra lens so that works out great!
