Today I completed dimpling the rudder skin. Fit the rudder counterbalance skin R-713 with tip rib R-703. Straightenen, fluted and deburred tip rib. The fitting of the tip rib and counterbalance skin was a bit of a challange. The fluting of the front flange took some finesse to get the holes in the rib flange to line up with the holes in the counterbalance skin. After some working I got the holes to line up perfectly!
After fitting the rib and skin on the rudder tip I match drilled the rest of the holes. As always time flies by! After making this entry I am heading down the basement for a long day of building....how great is that!!
