We had a great time at a Saturday "It's About Thyme". Rick, Rob, Kathryn and I had a great meal and time of laughter and fun.
On Monday it was time for Rick to continue his journey with instrument panel to Driftwood Airport (XA86) in the DFW area of Texas. Ricks friend Tom has a home on an airport community there and Rick will park his Twitter RV8 there in the big hangar to perform an upgrade on the instrument panel over the course of the next year. He will drop off the airplane and disassemble the panel and then return in the spring to work on the panel upgrade.
It was a good week and excuse to take time off from work!!! Lots of fun and work accomplished.
