I received the Baffle kit, Snorkle and other miscellaneous parts from Vans a couple weeks ago and doing the inventory kinda got lost in the shuffle. My friend Jim mentioned his inventory issues and sent me a copy of his FWF order with deletions and list. I figured I better get the inventory done because I didn't want to miss the window for getting Vans to take care of any issues.
So I sat and went throught several pages. Well, sure as shootin, I had a baffle part CB-900A that I couldn't find anywhere on the inventory or the parts list on the baffle OP40 document.
Well, after spending 45 minutes on the phone with Jessica at Vans we got it all straightened out. Seems like instead of giving me a CB-1009A for the IO-360 they gave me a CB-900 which is for the IO-320 Baffle.
So the baffle kit has several back-ordered items that I am waiting on so I can probably get them to send the right Baffle part with those. So that was tonights work session......a baffling situation to be sure....but should be resolved soon!
