This weekend we were able to do some RV-8 building. We started working on the parking brake installation, but we needed some fittings for the parking valve that Jim didn't have available in stock. So we got the parking brake mounting bracket riveted in anyway.
We also decided on getting the hole for the BAV that is mounted in the instrument panel. We took time and made a good sturdy setup for using the hole cutter. Hole cutters are very dangerous and getting it setup properly is the key to minimizing the hazards.
Hole was successfully cut and is ready to install the vent.
