Brief Description:  Bottom Cowling (cont)

I started by removing the bottom cowling in order to finish some trimming and sanding. Before gatting to that I also removed the top cowl and took time to cut the rough hole in the oil door area to give me access since I molded two carbon fiber doors already.

I then went about marking and making the final cut on the ramp portion of the lower cowl. After all the sanding and fitting every edge all was good and fitting fine. Still have to cut the horizontal sides so not everything is quite there yet.

One more step for this session was using my punches and guerrilla tape to make something to hold down the pilot bushing for drilling the holes in the cowling using light to mark the spot. I got them all in place for the next session.
