Tonight I simply laid the carbon fiber sheets on the cowling and laid the peel ply on top. I used three layers of carbon fiber....if it needs to be made thicker I can add more sheets of carbon fiber or regular fiberglass later.
This is the benefit of having those experienced builders you can talk to that have been down the road a few times and have built multiple projects! I am fortunate to have some great builder resources to draw upon.
