Ralph called and told me he had some time to work on the project.....at that point I dropped everything when Ralph came and we were able to spend some time in the shop Sunday afternoon.
Ralph cut the Pmag wires and had them laying near the left and right ignitions but they had to be identified in order to connect the correct wires to the correct ignition switches. He got everything identified and spent the rest of the session getting the Pmag connectors completed.
He bought some small pins that he crimped on the end of the wires so that you are not just putting wires into the holes and screwing them down but you actually screw down the pin connector itself. Kinda cool and cheap on Amazon. There also needs to be a jumper wire for the timing schedule (which is already installed but Ralph wanted to put the pins on those too!) as well as a diode to limit the power to the RPM indicator on the Garmin to 5 volts.
Ralph completed the connections by the end of the session......another big thanks to Ralph for his great work and expertise!
