Brief Description:  Tie Wires and Remove Ground Wire from Bundle

After running the two wires for the field connection on terminal #6 I really had to cut the ties on the top bundle run and re-lace the wire bundle together. Then I put some silicone tape around the bundle just to make sure the bundle fits in the cradle of the tie down nice and snugly. I put on two new zip ties to complete the work in the bay.

When putting together the wires for the ignition harness for the Pmags, I put a wrong wire into the bundles. Pmag states that you need to use 18AWG wire for both power and ground wires and the rest of the wires can be 20AWG. Well long story short I used 20AWG for the ground wire and I noticed it while double checking the harness.

The harness is in the airplane but not finished being dressed and tied, so I was able to leave it in place and laid in the cockpit and slid the wire through the lacing and tie wraps to finally get it removed from the harness. Now I will snake 18AWG wire back through the harness....which may take a bit longer.....but better to do it now than find out later!
