Brief Description:  Panel Switch Wires #5

I did a lot of casing stripping for the sheilded wiring I am using for the wing lights and the wing tip lights as well. After stripping the casing off of the wire I decided which color of wire would go to what since sheilded wire has a white and three striped wires to use.

After stripping the casing I cut back most of the sheild. I am not using the sheild for the ground but since the sheild is there I will ground one end of it to the grounding block as it will dissapate any stray electrical current in the wire bundle. Using solder sleeves and 20 AWG black wires I located the solder sleeves on the wing and tip light wires and used the heat gun to complete the connections.

I decided to change the adel clamp that I have been using to hold a bundle of grounds to a larger clamp as I have more wires than anticipated to hold. I then routed the sheild grounds through the clamp and into the grounding block.

The FLY LEDS switch that I am using for the wing lights that incorporates a wig-wag function also has a switch ground that I ran a wire to from the last spot on the Dsub that I installed behind the panel.
