Brief Description:  Wiring Pitch Servo & Ignition Buss

After coming home from a two day visit to our grandson Rudy's 6th birthday party in North Carolina I was able to get back in the shop on Sunday. Ralph mentioned being able to come over and I want to keep the momentum going.

I want to get the wires routed into the tail section in order to be done with that area once and for all in order to remove the boards and prepare it for installing actual flight control parts. I want to move the fuselage out to the shop where I can put on the axles and tires.....which won't happen in the basement.

Working on the routing and securing the wire harness and getting the trim wires back to the horizontal stab area....in between assisting Ralph and getting my old body in and out of the baggage area to get the work done.....a little more difficult than when I started almost 10 years ago. Ralph was sitting in the front seat working and I was scrunched in the baggage area....and yet the plane did not break!

I also worked on making a buss bar for the ignition CB's. I decided I wanted to have power redundancy so I will bring two wires and the buss bar will be able to crossfeed power in case of a failure of either buss feed.

I bought a couple office workstation "sit down/ stand up" tables at a local auction for $130 each. They are very well made....heavy duty tables. I placed one on a couple dollies and wheeled it up to the fuselage and Ralph and I had a great workbench to use while working as I raised it up to cockpit level....it was an awesome help in our work session as we had the label maker, soldering iron, heat gun, and multiple tools and connectors at our fingertips!
