Brief Description: Make Dsub bracket for Panel Indicator Light Ground
I spent the time making the Dsub bracket that would be riveted to the bracket I already had on the instrument panel brace in the airplane. I cut out the clearance for the Dsub housing and then I drilled the holes for the Dsub attachment screws and deburred the bracket.
I drilled rivet holes in the existing bracket and then match drilled them to the bracket I just made. I then riveted the brackets together and attached the Dsub. It is ready to go into the airplane but I will first run the wires with pins that will go to the instrument panel ground block first.
Should work out well and open up 7 positions on the ground block.
