Tonight I stayed in the basement shop and worked on the flap position sensor some more. I had to make the hinge pin. Then I removed the adel clamp and drilled out the connection tab for a 4-40 screw and re-clekoed it in place.
I then ran the actuator up and down a number of times to be sure nothing was binding and made some adjustments for the location of the mount and the adel clamp. When I finally got everything where it needed to be I held the adel clamp together with a set of hemostat clamps and inserted a #8 screw, washer, and locking nut on the clamp.
I marked the holes for the sensor mount attachment location. With all the adjustments set I just have to drill the mount and hook up the wiring.
Wow.....I can't believe I just hit the 2500 hour mark on a quickbuild!!!!! Either I am too anal about logging every moment I do anything on the project or just a slower than a sloth builder.....anyway it is what it is.....
