Brief Description: Work on Flap Actuator and AOA Flap Switch
In between working with Ralph or being given a task to accomplish by him, I worked on getting the clearance for the flap actuator by removing material with a drum sander on the dremmel.
I also began to work on the flap microswitch mount for the AOA flap position indicator. I decided with all the stuff going on with the left side of the flap weldment that I would mount the AOA switch on the right side. After pondering I came up with a design in my mind and began getting the bracket that would mount on top of the flap weldment hold down block to hold the microswitch. I got the holes drilled after making a little transfer punch that I slid down the hole to mark the bracket. I will slot the holes in the bracket a little so I can have adjustment.
Last Friday I also received the updated version of the Flight Data Systems GT-50 Chronometer-G meter-USB charging port-ammeter-and instant coffee maker!
