Tonight I took a little time to install the Electrical Bay Pass-thru. A number of wires will go through this area.....but should still be room for extra's to come through.
I am planning on using the pass-thru's to send any grounds for firewall forward items through as well. I didn't put any grounding tabs on the firewall because I think it is better to keep the wires out of the environment. I have seen a lot of ground wires suffering various types of corrosion due to exposure to the elements over time. Nothing wrong with grounding on engine side of firewall it's just a preference to me.
The reality is that if there is no room in the pass-thru's I can always easily add a small grounding tab block to the engine side of the firewall.
